Hotel Paradise

A fantastic family run scenic hotel at its Italian best! Loved the ease in which we could hire cars, get good directions to the best places on the island. Also great shuttle from the Father to and from important places like the ports etc. the daughters Francesca and Martina spoke amazing English and were always friendly and so helpful. and we cant forget the great food from the mother in the restaurant. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

Such a laid back and beautiful hotel. Family run, nothing was too much trouble for the super friendly staff. Food was also delicious! Great view of the marina! Highly recommend.

The good points of Paradiso Terme Resort & Spa are that the rooms are spacious and clean with good air-conditioning. I had a ground floor room with small outside area and I could see a small portion of the sea; (I cannot complain as it was an upgrade from a garden view). Improvements would be the provision of more English TV channels (we only had CNN and Al Jazeera), more convenient electrical sockets and an umbrella for the outside table. The hotel’s good points are that all the gardens are beautiful and the staff are pleasant and professional, especially at the reception. The hot thermal swimming pool is very relaxing, a very unusual and lovely experience. So, what could the negatives be, it is the location of the hotel. It is difficult to walk anywhere outside of the hotel, it is located 450 metres off the main road between Forio and Saint Angelo, a long way from civilisation. But the 450 metres is mostly uphill and a horrendous drive for a car. If you reached the main road you can catch a local bus but be prepared to stand. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to the nearest town but I don’t know how frequent the shuttle was as we saw a number of guests walking up and down to the drive to and from the local bus. I hired a car so I had the freedom of the island during the day; I could not face driving at night because the island's roads are narrow and dangerous. Therefore, in the evening, I, and the other guests, were captive to the hotel. The evening meals were formal affairs, admittedly, weather permitting, on a nice patio overlooking the pools and enjoying the lovely sunsets but the meal was a little dragged out especially if you did not catch the eye of the waiter and sometimes the restaurant was lacking in organisation and effective communication. There was no background music as I dined, I only had entertainment on the one night so the evenings were boring. My advice if you want a great sea view do not accept ground floor rooms, because the sea views are mostly on the 1st floor.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel. The staff is incredibly nice and super efficient - we had a little issue with the ventilation and aircon and this has been resolved in no time by Martina and her father. The view is stunning and the food is out of this world. They also offer a daily shuttle service which is quite convenient. We will definitely come back!

We stayed here as part of a 10 days trip to Italy in September, and couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay while visiting Ischia! Overlooking Tyrrhenian Sea, the villages below and the mainland in the distance, Paradise Relais Villa Janto is perfectly set in the beautiful hills. The view is amazing, and I would absolutely recommend enjoying the sunset from the roof terrace, accompanied by refreshments from the restaurant. The food is great, the owners and staff friendly and welcoming - this place really deserve the name Pardise!
