The main park in the centre of downtown Kingston. Badly need of redsigning and a maintenance program that should make it the premature pàrk in Jamaica. The site of the statue of two of our national heros who played an integral role in the birth of the nation. This park was also Central to that process.

Located in the centre of the Downtown Shopping area and named after Sir William Grant, one of Jamaica's prominent defenders of workers rights in the pre-independence era; ( 1934-1940). It is a landmark with statues of Jamaica's first Prime Minister after Independence Alexander Bustamante, on the southern side and Sir Norman Manley on the northern end. There are also statues of Sir Simon Bolivar of Bolivia, Sir Oliver Cromwell of Britain located within the park. Various trees, plants and flowers adorn the green spaces creating an aura of relaxation fitted with adequate seating. There are, as expected, sanitary conveniences to the eastern and western end exting on Orange and Church Street respectively. A pleasant location to rest during your busy shopping trip or just to relax, have some refreshments, or take some photographs with the family/friends whenever you fancy.
