Visited the library over 2 years ago. In search of information on indentured labourers. The staff were polite and friendly. The information was not available but I still had a positive experience. As a disabled visitor from the UK I did find the stairs difficult.

Went there with a couple of students for their school project. The staff were very very helpful. And they were able to get some difficult to get information.

The Nation's Library. Oh how I wish the government would give them a bigger building something that mimics that of the British Library or the Library of Congress. Something that shows off national pride. The Staff at NLJ are creative, knowledgeable and customer focused. They use technology proprietary and open source to meet the needs of their users. The Library, however, outgrew the building and the systems that are needed to protect the collection of the NLJ is lacking. God forbid a fire should break out. The staff has and can do all they can. I am wishing to see a better building and greater investment in the a library
