Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa

They really need to do better at this location. I have stayed at Breathless DR & Cancun locations and there's no comparison. I spent more money at the Jamaica location for bad customer service below average food. The grounds are not being maintained as they should and the staff needs to be better trained. The communication on what's going on at the resort is terrible. Nobody knows and they need attitude adjustments. The bellhops and taxis have a better idea, so ask them if you visit. If this is your 1st time on a resort, you may really enjoy it, but don't waste your money if you are accustomed to 5-star treatment. This ain't it. **If you plan on taking excursions as the bellhops for the FRASIER TAXI. He will hook you up and is a really nice guy. When booking through the resort, the locals only get a small % of the profits. **

I stayed here January 2021 for my birthday, the experience was wonderful. The covid policies that were implemented were executed effectively for our safety and the rooms were very clean and beautiful. All the staffs throughout the hotel very professional and warm but especially Leon at the front desk,he is the sweetest person ever. There were some things that needed to be done outside of what the hotel offered and Leon went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration wonderful . Breathless Leon is a gem,a great asset to your organization. Thank you all for a amazing stay

Such a wonderful experience. The rooms were so cool and I had a great view. Food was amazing especially the oxtail. There was always something fun going on. Our friends stayed at the resort across the street and we were able to go back and forth between both.

It is incredible nice if there was 100 star they would get it. staff is so nice. place is clean and grounds is pristine well recommended

I posted this exact review on TripAdvisor, but thought it would be helpful here also. My husband and I took a couples trip to Breathless in June 2019. This was our second time in Jamaica and this particular hotel was sexy, modern and beautiful. We stayed for 6 days and what absolutely ruined it for us was that our A/C did not work the entire time during our stay. We reported the issue a few times, but maintenance only came once and never updated us on the resolution and we were never offered to have our room change. The ceiling fan basically saved our lives we had to keep it on constantly in order to make it bearable. The other big part for us was the customer service at the hotel was not good at all. All of the service workers had attitudes and seemed annoyed when you asked for assistance or questions. The ONLY pleasant individuals were the Hype Team, they had great energy positive vibes, were super nice and cared about if you were having a good time. It was nice to have access to Secrets restaurants and activities, that was a nice setup and bonus to have that shared experience. However Secrets food at their restaurants was NOT good at all. Breathless did have great breakfast and lunch options, beautiful views it's just that A/C and customer service was a big part of ruining that trip for me. We stayed at the Hyatt Zilara our first time in Jamaica and Breathless pales in comparison to Hyatt's customer service.
