My girlfriend and I rented a car from Salem on two separate days while staying at Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay. Their service was excellent. We were picked up and dropped us off without delay. We met and dealt with Patrice and Andrew as well as others there that I do not know by name however, everyone was great to deal with. I highly recommend renting a vehicle from them. Their prices are reasonable/competitive and the service is great.

Kirk at Salem rental cars took great care of us on our trip to Jamaica! We were able to book last minute when all the other big companies were booked out. Kirk even allowed us to extend our reservation and keep the car a few more days! Great company with excellent customer service.

Prior to visiting Jamaica in August / September 18. We stumbled across Salem Car rentals and Kirk some 3 months prior. Wanting to visit some spots in our own time, I decided to give Salem a chance and agreed a favourable time and date. As this was our first car hire NOT using the regular big operators (Av*s, Her*z etc) I was out of my comfort zone......In all honesty, I have not received a better service with any of them. Kirk and I communicated via email throughout quite easily. He answered all my questions relating to excess charges; documents needed; handy tips all us tourists could do with....Kirk was even kind enough to drop off the vehicle at our hotel the night before, as we wanted to be the first into Dunn River Falls so as to avoid the crowds.
Sadly, the little Jimny Jeep we were hoping for, developed a fault upon delivery....no problem!! (as they say in Jamaica)....and it really wasn't!!! Kirk there and then called a colleague and a replacement car was with me within 30 minutes. He was even kind enough to provide me with a number I could Whatsapp him on so as to keep my mobile charges to a minimum.....a real gent!!!

Look no further. They may not have the largest fleet but the service is absolutely exquisit. They picked us up at our hotel (1 mile away from the rental) to get the car and even came to pick the car with as little as one hour notice (8am in the morning) when I was supposed to drop the car myself. The staff was super friendly, professional and reachable. Would not hesitate to do it again.
