As a freelancer who doesn't own a vehicle, this was the most difficult inconvenience for me to commute across the island for my gigs. After research and trial/error, serious trial and error. Hertz Jamaica is my first choice for rentals, compared to their corporate competitors (came across a company that wanted to hold my money until the vehicle as returned, altho I understand the reason, that's a no for me) the rates are great and last minute orders are treated kindly especially in my field. Until I own my own vehicle, Hertz will be my first choice for rental. I am so pleased that I even start telling my friends about the service. Fingers crossed on a portmore or St. Catherine Branch for pickup and drop off.

I rented from Hertz in April 2018 and it was a great experience! Booking online was a simple process, the staff at the counter at Mobay airport and Kingston airport (when I returned it) were very friendly and helpful. Even when the tire pressure got really low at one point (happens at times in Jamaica, very common) they were very accommodating in getting me a new car immediately and even brought it to where I was staying. I would absolutely rent from them again when I return to Jamaica.

I’ve rented from Hertz about a half a dozen times over the last 2 years and I must say the service and quality of the vehicles has been excellent. I love the personal touches they offer and the swiftness of the rental procedure. They get me in and out quickly every time with a friendly face. #highlyrecommended

Deception. Used Hertz app to get quote. Found a package at affordable rate for requirements so made reservation through the app. On arrival they found my booking but no record of the estimate so need to start again resulting in an additional $100/$200 depending on liability of $1000 or $250.
