Jamaica Palace Hotel

It was quite. An improvement from previous reviews. The are updating the Palace. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Well manicured grounds. While you may have a majestic view of the sea amongst picturesque surroundings, the beaches are not within walking distance. Local taxis are quite reasonable, but be sure to change your money to local currency. The management and staff goes the extra mile to ensure your comfort. Great place to vacation but the travel to get there is not an easy task. Loved it.

I was in Jamaica for a wedding. This hotel was selected based on reviews on Trip advisor. Unfortunately some of the information was no true. This hotel is in need of some up grades. Also could benefit from some hotel management training IT is a beautiful space and could become a dream vacation spot. But i did enjoy talking with some of the workers They were all very friendly and very helpful. They did the best with what was given to them.

My trip to Jamaica was excellent and I stayed at Jamaica Palace . Management and staff were great!! They accommodated me very nice and polite. I was there in July and returned again last month. I will be traveling very soon and Jamaica palace will be the place to be.. Great hotel in Portland Jamaica!!! Love it !!!

The Jamaica Palace is absolutely amazing. The property is incredible. The staff caters to your each and every need and desire. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The rooms all have AC, WiFi, TV and telephone. The food was impeccable with a wide variety of international cuisines to choose from every day. The location is a slice of paradise. Port Antonio is not a cruise port so there are very little tourists which makes it a true paradise. We could not say enough about this hotel to do it justice. We went to the Palace for our 28 year anniversary. We have stayed at this hotel 15 times over the past 25 years. The hotel has been updated and provides a wide array of amenities to choose from to make it a perfect vacation spot. We can not say enough about this hotel and the individual service that the staff provides on a daily basis. The management team ensures that each and every wish is fulfilled. There is a variety of very diverse excursions to choose from every day. This is the true Jamaica. You will get to know the real Jamaica and not an overcrowded tourist destination. Not many people know about Port Antonio or this resort. You will truly feel like you are the King and Queen of the Palace. The resort is family friendly but also makes for the perfect romantic get away. Hats off to the entire staff for making this a perfect vacation. You will get to know all the staff on a personal basis. You are not just another number at an overcrowded resort. They have several packages available for any budget. Whether you have traveled to Jamaica before or this is your first time, this is a property that is an absolute must see and must stay. We could not have asked for anything more from the staff. They do an incredible job to make this a memorable vacation. We will absolutely be back and be bringing our daughters and grandchildren. We have read all the reviews and can not emphasize enough how absolutely perfect this resort is for a vacation, wedding, romantic get away or a family vacation. You will not be disappointed . We highly recommend this property to be put on your bucket list. Trust us, you will want to go back time and time again. We would like to offer a very special thanks to the management team for providing us with an exceptional experience. We were treated like family.
