Not all the staff was friendly, however, the one that was, was worth it. Beach wasn't crowded. Apart from the seaweeds, the water was amazing. The road leading to the establishment really needs to be addressed.

Best free beach ive been to in recent memory. I love the idea of it. Free entry but everything else is paid. The beach is really clean (cleaner than some paid beaches). The sand is nice and soft but there’s a bit of seaweed when you venture out a bit into the water. Food is reasonably priced and tastes good. All in all a really good spot in ochi if you’re on a budget. Pro tip, go early before the crowd

I travel alone and I was told to try this place when I go to Jamaica, I was pleasantly surprised, everything was fantastic, the staff, the management, the view, the beach everything was wonderful. I've been back there three times, the staff explained everything to me, re: closing time etc. so I had no disappointments. I feel bad for the visitors who did not share the same experience that myself and other posters had, you should go back and give them an opportunity to please you, it might just have been a bad day. Waiting for the airports to reopen so I can get back to Ocho Rios, first stop: Pleasure Cove Beach Bar and Restaurant
