Sun Valley Plantation

We had a wonderful time visiting and learning so much about the various plants and trees in this magnificent garden. The owner Lorna gave us a great glimpse into the variety of fruits and plants in Jamaica and what you can do with them. You even have little hummingbirds coming to see you and eat from your hand! I strongly recommend a visit there for anyone staying in the area. Do take the option to sample the fruits with the excellent snack!

I had an incredible time on this tour. The bus ride from the resort was interesting- you get off of the main roads and see some interesting, lush neighborhoods. Brian, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and hilarious (and I'll forgive him for picking on New Jersey so much). Ate the most delicious pineapple I've ever had, and had some great fresh pressed juices. The hummingbirds were enchanting. Just go!

The owner was a wonderful lady. She gave our small group a private tour, because our time was limited. Wonderful experience. Who knew young coconuts have delicious jelly. We had refreshing fresh coconut water and an amazing plate of fruits prepared in a variety of ways. We enjoyed the tour so very much. We have already planned another one. See you soon!

Beautiful natural setting. The owners, who are also the guides, are knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. See rare birds and plants and sample delicious fruit. Highly recommend!
