Upper Deck Condominium

Great gated complex, very conveniently located, just steps away from town, beaches and Hip Strip. A great bonus: a small bar that serves meals at very reasonable price and also two convenience stores. Though the community is a bit dated, very many apartments are renovated and look fantastic.

Sadly, this place would easily be at least 4 stars if it weren't so annoyingly inconvenient. For a place that you have to pay maintenance fees, the place certainly has a lot of problems. The electricity, cable and water goes out constantly - sometimes multiple times a week. The electricity reading is not consistent among apartments - I monitor mine daily and barely use electricity but the bill is high. A day I'd use A/C could have the same reading as a day I'm not even home. The infrastructure is simply not good if there are consistent power outages. I work at home, so it's highly inconvenient for me and I have to either lose hours of work or go to a relative's house to get work done. The pros is that it is a relatively safe place with a beautiful view and there are shops onsite.
