This area is my home town born an raise the pelican bar own by my first cousin floyd forbes , the location in the middle of the sea is a blessed spot we grow up having picnic there that's church outings aka picnic

My partner came here and stop at the bar on the beach, they tried to charge him $400JMD for one red strip because he ’looked like a foreigner’ Well, luckily I taught him the power of bargaining and walking away. Well, they adjust the price and charged him the actual price of the beer. We went around to a little shack operated by a guy and he was playing dominoes with his friends. They were the nicest souls. We talked to them as they play dominoes. We ended up spending all the money here with an honest local.

The best way to get to the pelican bar well worth a visit but can be busy

Loved loved loved it! Basil's is the spot to launch from. We had a meal and waited for a brief shower to pass by, before going to Floyd's Pelican Bar. A place not to be missed if you come to Jamaica. Sadly, someone has copied Floyd and is building one not far away. I wish nothing for them. Parrotee is a lovely area, villas, small hotels and bed and breakfasts abound along the main route. So many places to enjoy in sweet, sweet, Jamaica!
