From the pages of the historian writers it is confirmed that the clock tower in cross roads was erected to honor the Jamaican service men who died in the second World War. Someone please save our center piece. What historic value to preserve for all generations. Cross Roads is centered on the intersection of five major roads namely : Slipe Road, Half Way Tree Road, Old Hope Road, Caledonia Avenue, and Marescaux Road - arguable the demarcation between Uptown and Downtown. Many relationships born next door the carib cinema and the clock. Ahaaa I love sweet Jamaica with its historic happenings.
