This pharmacy has gone above and beyond when it comes to preparations for the covid pandemic. The social distancing measures they have put in place are very effective in keeping both staff and customers safe in these times. It might be a small wait in line out side. But it is worth it, once your inside your created with great and friendly customer service. They are definitely a cut above the rest.

The wait time outside this place is a living hell it seriously makes no sense having people outside for 3+ hours they need to work to serve customers faster it’s outrageous I’m surprised they got above 2 stars smh worst location ever been to

Called them to check on the cost of a prescribed item. I was not in Portmore so used my phone to send them a photo of the prescription. Got a response that the item would cost $11, 000 and change. Followed up with another pharmacy and learned that the prescribed item was sold over the counter for $600 and change. Independence City pharmacy is convenient but that's about all!

Even with their discount card, this is one of the most expensive pharmacies in Portmore. If this pharmacy is the last resort then okay but if customers want reasonable drug costs they will have to go elsewhere
