Worthy Park Estate has been around for a pretty long time. Although locally they might seem overshadowed by Appleton but Worthy Park has their own thing going on.
They have a rum tour for themselves as well. Appleton Estate's Rum Tour is a bit more ironed out with more to see but Worthy Park can hold their own. All and all it was a nice experience that I would recommend you to try atleast once.

Our visit to Worthy Park Estate was one of the highlights of our trip to Jamaica. It's off the beaten track and bus tours only visit on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so if you want a private experience, book your visit for any other day. If you can, rent a car and drive the scenic route up through the hills to the Estate -- you won't regret it. Our bartender and tour guide were very knowledgeable and welcoming and we learned a lot. The rum tasting was awesome and seeing how the rum is made, from sugar cane to glass, was really cool. We will only be drinking Rum-Bar/Worthy Park from now on!
Worthy Park Estate is a great way to see how sugar cane is grown and hand harvested. You can watch a film on sugar cane processing then go over to see the state of the art rum production area.. Of course rum tasting is the highlight at the end of the tour Our lady tour guide was excellent .
