Budget Car Rental

Take my advice do not ever rent a car from budget in Kingston Jamaica after renting a car from them for 10 days I even went back and extended the car during the time I had it upon returning the car August 3rd 2020 their going to inform me that I got a wrong calculation from the rep when I 1st rent the car and I owed them money so they went into my deposit money to take out what they say I owed them none called or send me an email during the 10 days to say i owed any money I even was trying to upgrade from a car to a suv and nobody inform me that I owed any money On my way returning the car I got a flat They inform me that they will have to hold another $135 out of my deposit for any damages to the tire or the rims Because there is no mechanic on site and I had to leave the country the following day August 4th So when I got to America a week after because I was calling them they said it was a holiday and so they inform me that there's a cut on the inside of the tire not on the outside I asked them to send me the proof because I have my proof where I video the tire and nothing was wrong today is August 21st and I just got pictures with a tire and their telling me the damage is on the outside next to the rim at the side She said I won't be able to see it because it's a little rip that clearly sounds like a wear and tear to me i have my own proof that the tire is not damage because I took a video off the tire. do yourself a favor do not rent a car from budget car rental at Norman Manley International airport Save yourself the headache and problem✌

Worse experience renting a car ever! Rented a car for a few hours, drove it for half hour max and these people charged me 18000 for a 8000 tire for a bump I'm sure I got the car with... Seemingly they have done this a few times over. They give you a good deal on the rental but there's always an additional charge once you return it

If I could give zero stars I would! Where do I start? The staff on the front counter are rude, unhelpful and deeply unpleasant. Having just landed in Kingston airport following a 10+ hour flight from UK the service we receive at Budget Car Rental was frankly appalling and utterly exhausting, leaving one member of our party in tears. There is absolutely no reason to treat people this way - if you are this angry in your job do something else. We were also completely ripped off - whether this is because we are tourists we are not sure but as a warning to everyone - AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Used a third party to book a car and made full payment online, however, when I got to the counter the guy stated that I didn't have full insurance coverage and suggested additional charges costing me an additional $239.00 and then told me that I would be refunded $50.00 if I returned the car with a full tank of gas. On return of the car with the full tank I got a receipt of $187.07, yet days after my credit card was reflecting the $239.00, when I called the guy advised me that the additional amount was for some security deposit which I never agreed to. Do not be fooled by these people they are deceptive and underhanded and the persons at the counter are there simply to try and squeeze as much money out of you even though you already paid online. Do not be deceived, avoid this company at all costs!!!
