Chukka Ocean Outpost at Sandy Bay

Had an amazing day at Chukka! The ATV ride was fast and fun! Seeing the horses in the water was amazing. The catamaran tour and snorkeling was top notch. The drinks were flowing and the crew was singing and dancing throughout the tour! The infinity pool, amazing swimming pool, and food were perfect! Great staff! Very highly recommended!

Please get an ATM! I had such a great time! Staff was amazing! The tours were phenomenal, but I ran out of cash and there was no ATM! I would have loved to buy a straw hat and tip our tour guides! They really made the experience well worth it!!! Great staff!!

I’ve always visited Chukka but I’ve found it isn’t geared towards locals at all and that’s very disheartening. The workers treat it as if Jamaicans can’t be spending their own money to enjoy their country. I was singled out for having private transportation, singled out for booking my own trip, singled out for not staying in a hotel, which has NOTHING to do with the excursion. We were unable to do our full tour and the workers didn’t even make us aware that due to the weather some of the attractions weren’t available. Instead of suggesting something else as a substitute since I did infect pay for the outpost triple, they were uncompromising and I just requested a refund instead. How do you not communicate issues to the customer? They tried to sweep it under the rug so the tourists wouldn’t know they weren’t getting their full money’s worth. When I did get a chance to speak to a supervisor on-site for the rest of the day the staff went around telling each member how I requested a refund, pointing and staring at me. I don’t see how if I respectfully ask for a refund because they failed to provide the services promised how I’m being vilified. When you work your hard earn money to enjoy yourself it baffles me how, our own Jamaicans make you feel like you shouldn’t be enjoying the fruits of your labor. The only saving grace are the actual tour guides. They were great. Especially Ryan and Rayon (??) for the zip line part of the tour gave us a very unique and knowledgeable experience!

My day at Chukka Sandy Bay in Hanover, was off the chain.My horse back riding experience with Dwayne and the team was simply amazing. Corey and the ATV crew made our experience a fantastic one, my final adventure for the day was the Catamaran experience, OMG 😲, this was just too good to be true, we had fun to the max.We literally didn't want it to end. I must admit, that the staff members were fun and so professional 👏👌. KUDOS...I'M COMING BACK.

Its nice to be able to do several different activities at one location. My favorite part was ATV and the house back riding through the water. They serve you lunch and take your photos during the activity if you want to purchase them. It will be a day trip here. They have lockers you can store your things in. Just make sure you bring a pair of closed toe shoes if you want to do ATV.
