Portland 876 Tours

I had a great experience the persons who gave the tour were great, friendly and accommodating. They told us about the different areas and allowed us to enjoy each spot as much as we liked. Though it rained all day and it was an open trip I planned I was concerned but even with the rain everyone had a blast!!! I definitely plan to do something again with them very soon!

Inspired by the YouTube posts of the 876 vloggers, I decided to book a day tour with Portland 876 Tours, and to say it was a fantastic experience would be an understatement!!! The tour price was very affordable, the tour guides were polite but friendly, helpful and acted professionally. All aspects of my adventure to my chosen "off the beaten path" locations, exceeded my expectations. Needless to say, I am definitely planning more tours with Portland 876 as this awesome experience has left me hungry for more. Great job guys! Keep up the impressive work!

Amazing tour guides, accommodation and nature gems!!

I watched the 876 vlogs on YouTube and was happily living vicariously through the videos. One day, I commented on one of the videos that I was grateful to be seeing all the places in Portland that I may never get to visit myself. They responded and encouraged me to visit and I decided that I would do a Portland tour for my birthday weekend. My friend and I drove to Portland to do the tour, when we got there it was raining. Jay met us and discussed what to expect and told us the places that we would visit as part of the tour package. We went to Turtle Bay and it was peaceful, calm and relaxing. I wish I could have spent a whole day there just watching the water and marveling at the beauty, the waves crashing on the sand, the rock formations in the water and the cool breeze blowing. We then went to Turtle Bay Cove, along the way we enjoyed the views of the sea, and good music and energy in the car. The tour guides were very helpful and knowledgeable, they assisted us and looked after our stuff. The water was warm and welcoming, it took some getting used to as some points were deeper than some but once I navigated the parts where I could stand, I was comfortable. I am not a strong swimmer. My friend and I enjoyed every minute and didn't want to leave the water at all. Of course, we had to enjoy some jerk pork and jerk chicken from the famous Boston Jerk centre. You have to visit to understand how tasty the food is, it will make you "lick yuh finga" as we say in Jamaica. Our last two stops for the day were by the Folly lighthouse and Folly ruins. It was captivating to just watch the sea hit against the rocks and spray up into the air near the lighthouse and you can imagine what it was like in its glory, when walking through the ruins and surveying the landscape. We had to leave when it began raining but it was the perfect end to a beautiful day, as the sun had set and it was becoming dark when we headed to the car. I am eager to start my tour of the other places that I haven't been to as yet! It's always exciting to discover and experience somewhere new and to also learn about each place. I would encourage anyone who wants to visit Portland to book a tour with Portland 876 tours.
