Worthy Park Estate Visitor Center

The Worthy Park Estate Rum Tour began in 2019 and was truly a pleasant experience. I got a deal on Gustazos which gave me a discount for 2 people, but we ended up bringing another adult and the cost for him as a Jamaican was J$2700. Our tour guide was Shunnagay, who has been the only guide since the inception of the tour. She was knowledgeable and well chosen for her job. Great spirit and personality with a good balance of knowledge and fun. Worthy Park produces the Worthy Park and Rum Bar lines and does so much more. It's also one of the longest producers on the island. That region of Jamaica is also just lush landscape beautiful. Book a tour. It's about 1.5 hours and safe socially distanced fun. Grab some rum from the gift shop on your way out!! Absolutely recommended!

Went on the 10 am tour on January 9. It was fantastic!!!! Finding the sugar estate is easy, as there is a large billboard pointing the way off the main road in Ewarton. From there, there are signs pointing you to the visitors centre once on the property. Our guide "Sugar" was energetic and friendly, we were given a welcome drink which we sipped while listening to the history of the estate, there was also a video introducing the estate. We were given taste tests of sugar cane, cane juice, molasses and brown sugar, following which there was a walking tour of the distillery and storing house. After returning to the visitor's centre, there was a taste test of 5 of Worthy Park's products. The bar was opened at the end of the tour for us to enjoy beverages and the small gift shop was also open. I encourage everyone, to take the drive to Luidas vale and partake in the tour. You most certainly won't regret it.

One of the best factory tours we have ever taken. You really get a sense of history and continuity, as well as a step by step orientation to the rum making process. "Sugar" and Alex took the time to get to know us and made sure to answer all of our questions. And yes....there is rum tastings included. Jamaica at its best.

There is not much to see or much to talk about. It's a factory just like most other factories. There are offices and place the processes cane and they make rum. The estate is beautiful in the early morning the look out is a beauty that shows how awesome our creator is, l don't have the words. The words to paint a fitting image.
