We have stayed in both the auto and free sites at this excellent camping grounds in Nasu Shiobara. There are also cabins in the resort. They are popular in winter even though they are not heated, as they are half price at that time of year.
There is an ofuro that is free for campers on the site. It uses onsen water. Its open from 3 pm to 8 am.
The campsite is part of a large park with lots to do. It is a bit of a walk to some of the playgrounds so if you have small children I recommend you drive to a nearer car park. The summer season outdoor water park is within walking distance - about a 15 minute walk.
All you can enter the hot spring from 15:00 to 8:00. Hot water is hot and the body gets warm from the core.
I stayed at the free site for two nights, but there was a large shaded space next to the lawn plaza, and it became a cool and comfortable camp. It is also a good condition that the parking lot is near.
The store is open until 22:00, and it's great that you can buy sake, firewood, toothbrushes, etc. if you forget or run out of things.
(Wasn't it best if I took a bath until 11 o'clock when I checked out?) Among many campsites, it was one of the best 3 in my house.
It's Saturday, so I made a reservation call at Dameto the day before.
I got a free site.
On that day, I checked in after 13:00 after climbing Mt. Adatara.
Many Famicans had already set up tents.
Everyone was following the manners.
It's good that the bath is from 15:00 to 8:00 the next morning.
The caretaker's uncle was also kind.
It is a campsite that I want to use again.
The hot springs are very warm. You can put it in as many times as you like. The free site is rather small. I want the auto to be cheaper. .. .. A cat will come when you ask for food. I wonder if the cherry blossoms are beautiful in spring. You can hear the sound of the car at night from the highway. .. ..
I always use it when I go camping in Nasu.
It is attractive that you can use it even in the midwinter season if you make a reservation.
