Similar to Nagi Station on the Imbi Line, It is a type that goes down the stairs to the station building. The shape is completely different because it is bent in a dogleg shape, but ... There used to be a dedicated freight line with a trolley line. The remains were about the tracks.

Although it is an unmanned station, this station is integrated with the building of the Chamber of Commerce as well as Sawame Station. A station building with an atmosphere made of Akita cedar. The track part is on a hill, and you will climb up the stairs to the platform. The wooden roof covering the stairs had a messy atmosphere and left a very impressive impression. It is one of my favorite stations on the Gono Line.

A railway stretched to the refinery which was on the side of the sea, and a small electric locomotive with a stick such as a streetcar taking electricity from the overhead line came and was carrying out cargo replacement. Currently, not only the railway tracks and overhead lines, but also the smelter has gone. I can see the ascending Gokono train leaving Yamori and going down like a fleet of steamed grasses to the sea side, but it is a rail track.
