It is a temple located in a small residential area spreading the countryside near the Tenryu River estuary. Matsubayashi, Temple of the Empire, Kokuryoji. It is a temple of Jodo sect and the main honor is Amitabha Nyorai. Opening mountain is Jodo sect atmosphere of Zodoji Temple No. 12 Ryozen Shrine Great Buddhist priest honorary superior Pupilist Tomokoku Resolution Hiroshi Oshima, opening period is Matsuyama Kurobe Honen. In case The opening priest 's Honorary Grand Priest is thick in confidence to Tokugawa Ieyasu, and has been given the issue of Masaru Tomokoku from Emperor Yosemi afterwards, and it came to be called Kannoji Temple from the priest.
