Komatsu Shigekatsu (09/18/2020)
It is a hall where the scriptures are stored, and about 2000 books are stored here. Currently off limits. It is said to have been built in Kyoho 7 (1722), but the current temple was rebuilt in 1809. It was Sadanobu Matsudaira, the lord of the Shirakawa domain, who was the grandson of Yoshimune, the 8th general, who drove the biane of "Issaikyodo" (there are many biane written by him in various temples and shrines). There is also a sculpture by the prestigious Shimamura style here, and the four front sides of the fire head window (both sides of the front door and the front side of the left and right sides) are by the third generation Toshimi. Toshimi's work is rarely known and very valuable, and the master of Awa's sculptor "Nami no Ihachi", Takeshi Ihachiro Nobuyoshi, who is known for his songs and storytelling, is Toshimi. The wooden nose lion of worship is said to have been made by Shimamura Yuan, but it is considered to be an error from the time of its construction (Yuan died in 1720). Therefore, it seems that it was made by Toshinori Shimamura, the 6th generation. By the way, the four posteriors of the katomado were made in 2010, and the tattooist was Keimasa Tsukahara, who was in charge of the main gate of Shinshoji Temple.

A temple standing beside the triple tower alongside the bell tower. One side is Sanken (around 1.8m in length), and the roof shape is Hojo-zukuri. It seems that it was built in 1722 (Kyoho 7th year). "All about 2000 books" are stored in "Rinzo" in the hall, and you can get the same virtues as reading the sutras just by rotating the table containing the scriptures. It used to be that you could enter the hall and turn around the "Ranzo", but now you cannot. Looking at the lower row of "Wanzo", you can see eight "demons" supporting it. The sculptures of the temple such as Kato Umad are also wonderful.

When I came to Oita before, I was able to see a rotating treasure store of 2,000 Buddhist texts inside the temple. It's easy to remember, but if you turn this wheel once, you've read everything, and you've turned it around yourself when you first visited it. What a sidewear. . When I came this time, I couldn't see inside the hall. Is it already private?

Established in the year 1927 (Kyoho 7) In 1831 (Tempo 2) year, 1962 (Showa 37), 1966 (Showa 41), 1986 (Showa 61), 1998 (Heisei 10), 2009 (Heisei 21) I have repeated many repairs. Ringroads in the temple are all penned (about 2,000 books). It is amazing (1ºº 1) The amount of entrance is due to the brush of Mr. Matsudaira Shingobu.
