We went during the autumn leave season. Several families were there with their children for the shichi-go-san ceremony. There's was a generous parking area for people arriving by car (most visitors). We went at 11am on a busy weekend and could still find a parking space pretty quickly. Impressive Shinto shrine with several majestic trees flanking the sides - one of them a thousand year old apparently. Definitely worth a trip.

One of the coolest shrines we have been to in japan mainly because of the long entrance way lined with the lantern holder things and beautiful tall trees. Its stunning!

Beautiful shrine to visit in autumn, many old trees including an impressive ginkgo tree. The shrine itself is very nice with beautiful architecture and gardens.

A must see if you are nearby. Much more impressive than many of the other Sengen or Asama shrines.

Tranquil place to calm your minds regardless of religion. You can see Japanese craftsmanship in the ancient building and their humble attitude towards the nature.
