Hamadayama Station

The platform isn’t large, and the ticket gates are on the underground level. You need to use stairs to go downs and ups. However, there are elevators from the platform to the ticket gate level, and there to the ground level. Only local train stops here, but there are shopping arcades, and interesting and unique shops in front and behind the station building. You can also get a local bus called Sugimaru/すぎ丸 for Asagaya station, which goes to the northern area of Suginami. About 5 mins walk from the station takes you to the other Sugimaru bus stop which takes you for Shimotakaido station, which goes to the southern area of Suginami.

The station itself has a small platform, and the crossing in front of the station is inconvenient. However, it is a high-class residential area in the vicinity, and there is a busy and fashionable shopping street in front of the station. In addition, Seijo Ishii & SEIYU is in front of the station, which offers a wide range of shopping options as both high and cheap supermarkets are compatible.

Walking down the Kanda River towards Takaido Station, there are cherry trees along the road, and the cherry blossom season is very beautiful.
