I can't believe I'm the first person to review this place! Located in a sleepy neighborhood basically in the middle of nowhere as far as most people are concerned, this is hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. You have to book by 2 days in advance and the menu is entirely chef's choice (including the wine!) but you can tell them any food preferences when booking. There are lunch courses for 2500, 3000, and 5000 yen and dinner for 5000, 8000, and 10,000 yen. The dining area is actually a screened-in porch, so it might get chilly in winter. We went on my birthday and got the 5000 yen dinner, which was amazing. Just everything perfectly and unpretentiously done. I didn't even ask the names of the wines, but they fit perfectly as well. Different freshly made breads appeared with every course. It was a rainy weekday night and we were the only party, so the effect was magical and unforgettable. Snails crawling up the frames of the screens just added to the magic. Must go back when I have an occasion and maybe give lunch or the more expensive dinners a try.

2020/5/17 It was open as usual. Reservation required does not change. After consultation. Reservations are required 2 days in advance. All courses come with bread, desserts and after-meal tea. Lunch is 2700 yen (either fish or meat), 3780 (both fish or meat), and the desserts are 3-4 points depending on the price. Dinner starts from 5400 yen. Two appetizers, fish meat, dessert. All dishes are delicious, but I like alligator dishes that can be eaten in spring. You can take only bread and sweets home during business hours. Reservation is also possible.
