A hidden pearl in Japan, the favorite place for our family where we visit every summer. Love it that you can swim in the lake whole day, and unlike swimming in the sea, you don’t get any sticky sensation on the skin after bathing in the water.

Beautiful view on the lake and you can rent Kayaks and small boats on the site !

The campsite is good, the staff are kind. Even if we don't have reservations they let us in. But the toilet sucks. There's no shower room too. You can't see Mt. Fuji from this area.

Excellent campground. There are cabins, and you can take your tent right up to the water. The lake is very clear. They allow open fires. It cost $36/ night for two people and one tent.; They charge per person, and per tent it seemed. One of the people working there spoke english. The toilets are clean enough for a campground. Their store sells most things you could need. You may want to pick up your vegetables from the farmers markets along the road coming to the area. There is no direct view of mount Fuji that I could see. Be sure to check out the caves in the area.

Probably one the best camping locations I've been to in Japan. Great location and view and easy on the wallet. Will definitely return many times to come!
