A bit of a trek from the main town but absolutely worth it - so calm, beautiful views over the lake and up to Fuji. Highly recommended!
I was camping there for one night! It is really a good place to stay! The service is really good and you are not so far from Fuji San!🏞️
It doesn't look like a big site, but it's a campsite with a great view. Glamping is possible, and tent camp is also possible. It feels good to have a toilet and a kitchen. How many groups can I stay?
(Addition) This is a campsite where you can choose from auto campsites, campsites, cottages, mobile homes, and yurts. The number of sites is not so many, but you can enjoy normal camping from the way of enjoying glamping. Above all, it is a rare location where you can see a different view of Mt. Fuji from the middle of a small mountain with Lake Kawaguchi below. At the foot of the mountain is the Asama Shrine with a new spirit sword and its cedar shinboku, and if you climb a little further, you will also find the recently constructed torii gate in the sky. It is an interesting campsite with a characteristic.
A spectacular campsite with a view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji. Late November. Maximum temperature 14 degrees Minimum temperature 6 degrees. It's sunny. Use a warmer instead of a stove to handle the cold. Use the forest site. About half of the customers are family members. Although the use of speakers was prohibited, the customer base was all calm and the audience could enjoy the view quietly and comfortably. The common space is thoroughly cleaned and the feeling of cleanliness is outstanding. Perhaps the toilet was burning incense, it smelled rather good. Not only is the wash basin and washroom clean, but there are even detergents and utensils for washing dishes. And hot water comes out. There is also a tent sauna, so I'd like to come to arrange it next time. This time it was the season of autumn leaves, but the fun seems to change depending on the season.
Forest site 21? I was allowed to use.
It was a nice miscalculation, there was a forest site where you can see Mt. Fuji from the site, the weather was good, and it was awesome!
Location
About 15 minutes from Kawaguchiko Interchange. If you take a short detour for shopping, is it Forest Mall? And I have everything. If it's just a supermarket, there is Ogino in the path, so I wonder if that's enough.
The road is narrow near the campsite.
Facility
The facilities of the Grand Ping and the cottage were beautiful.
There are auto sites and forest sites, but the auto site had a good view and looked good.
I wonder if the forest site has different tastes. I like it.
Since the slope of the mountain is cut open, you can carry it in or out by yourself or by cart. It is rented out at the campsite. However, since it is a fairly steep slope, the luggage is limited to a small amount. I think it's better to stop the big tool boom.
The toilet and kitchen were near the auto site and it was very clean. However, it is far from the forest site. Do you want at least a toilet for the forest site around the middle of the site ... Here is minus 1 point
The campsite itself is quiet at night, but it's a little noisy because the runners work hard nearby.
Overall, the environment is excellent, the campsite is well maintained, 2 hours from the city center. I will repeat it.
