Ridiculous value for price campsite. You have only access to a dirty and old toilet. No shower, no hot water for cleaning the dishes, no gate at the entrance to keep out unwanted guests and the manager woke the entire campsite by driving next to the tents at 5 am! And for all this you have to pay 2000 yen for a car and 1000 yen per person. It is not worth half this price
Great Camping site with a (limited) view to Mount Fuji. The place is really quiet and perfect for a weekend escape from Tokyo (about 2 hours by car). The toilets are very basic but clean and hot water or showers are not available on the camping ground. But there is a Onsen just 2 walking minutes away.
You can put up your tent/camping car directly at the lake Saito. It's just beautiful!!!
Ten years ago, it was possible to open an open fire, and it seems to be more free than the neighboring Saiko Freedom Campsite, so I called it [Saiko More Freedom Campsite].
There is a one-day hot spring right next to it, where you can eat and drink until the store closes, so next time the first party will be a hot spring. The second party is a tent site. What's more, you don't need to prepare dinner!
There seem to be various restrictions now, but I think it's still a fun campsite.
There are only toilets and water, so it's impossible to deny that a simple campground is expensive.
It may be crowded during the season as it is narrow and fast. Check out is at 11:00.
Take out the trash. Direct fire NG.
Cedar and cypress are planted at equal intervals and can be used as support posts for tarps.
I used it in August, but be careful as there are few butterflies.
The area along the lake has many stones and requires iron pegs.
There is a discount on the hot spring next door (certainly 900 → 800), but it's not a big hot spring.
However, the West Lake that spreads out in front of you feels good.
A campsite where you can relax and catch some small fish.
I went on a weekend in early April. Arriving before 7am, only one customer.
I was able to install it in the best location in front of the lake.
After that, many groups came, but they were relatively vacant by time.
It was great to be able to fish when you like Himemasu in front of the tent.
There is no detergent or sponge in the water, so you must bring it.
