The flower that represents autumn is the cluster amaryllis.
I often see them in my neighborhood, but it's hard to see them growing in clusters so that the whole area is colored with beautiful red.
It is surprisingly easy to see such a scene even from Tokyo at Sokoin, a temple of the Soto sect that opened about 250 years ago.
He has been planting cluster amaryllis since 1993 in cooperation with Ishikawaen, which handles tombstones and landscaping, and now it has increased to about 300,000.
It is said to be a mini Kinchakuda, likened to the famous cluster amaryllis "Kinchakuda" in Hidaka City, Saitama Prefecture.
In addition to the standard "red", the cluster amaryllis of Sokoin is really beautiful with various colors such as white, cream, pink, yellow, and purple.
Sokoin is not a tourist temple, so you have to follow the proper etiquette in the precincts.
Even if I want to make a donation, I can't find the offer box ... I'll do my best to thank the person who manages the traffic.
We recommend that you use public transportation as much as possible when you go out.
From Matsudo Station on the Joban Line, change to the Shin-Keusei Line and get off at Tokiwadaira Station, then walk for about 7 minutes. It was really easy.
It is a temple of cluster amaryllis. It seems that a nearby landscaping company is taking care of it, so it's a very large precinct site, but a very dense and beautiful flower field appears past the equinoctial week in autumn. 2020 was in full bloom on September 27th.
It is more fashionable than bright red because it is mixed with white. It's rare because there are a few oranges.
Shin-Keisei Tokiwadaira Station is the nearest station.
There are about 20 parking lots exclusively for tourists, which are different from those for Danya.
I visit every year during the cluster amaryllis season, which is wonderful. We go by car, but on weekdays you can park in the free parking lot. There are also collaborations with bamboo grove. If you want to take a picture, you can use a standard lens, but it may be better to have a telephoto lens. A tripod can be used.
Note that there doesn't seem to be a toilet (though I may not be able to find it).
A cluster amaryllis that I saw on the street last year and was always worried about. This year I stopped by before going to work in the morning. I was surprised at the beauty of the moist flowers, probably because of the rain the day before.
I've never seen cluster amaryllis so carefully, so I'm curious about the delicate flowers. It was a dark image probably because of the name cluster amaryllis, but as far as the delicacy of the flower is seen, the alias Manju Saka is more suitable. It's hard to tell because you can't shoot well, but the crimson carpet of cluster amaryllis that spreads from the front to the back is worth a look!
A lot of Higanbana was very beautiful.
I felt that it was a long 5 minute walk.
It would be nice if there was a guide board even during the Higanbana season.
As for the corona, the photo points are almost the same, so you can only take measures by wearing a mask, waiting for when there are no people, and taking a picture. Act at your own risk
