Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters

A very interesting museum. Has a detailed timeline of events of the war in Okinawa. Even with the emptiness of the underground passages, you're really taken back to the time of the events. 450¥ for adults. Expect to spend about an hour for the English content.

It's a short walk but it's very interesting. There's a small museum when you walk in. You can go upstairs to see some photos and make a origami.You pay in yen at the desk. Then head to the tunnel. It's very interesting and sad also. When you come out there's a nice shop with souvenirs and ice cream. Then a short walk up hill to the parking lot.

Nice museum with English explanation and photo exhibition upstairs.

Not much to actually see but very interesting and historical nonetheless. The most harrowing part is one of the rooms where soldiers committed suicide by grenade.
