Sakurai San is a wonderful Host. We 10 people had a awesome stay at this Log House. Cosy and warm place to stay and I would rate this as best place in Izu for foreigners to stay and enjoy without disturbing the locals and at the same time enjoying your holidays.
This things you will love here:
1. Vert High Speed Wifi Internet
2. Close to 200 Inch LCD projector with free Youtube , Netflix and other subscriptions.
3. Huge Drink and Dining Table.
4. 5 Big Bedrooms with 16 people capacity.
5. Wild life experience, because it is in a dense forest land.
6. Mineral rich mountain water .
7. Barbecue and Heat Chamber.
8. Outside sitting and balcony area for smoking.
9. All kitchen necessities present: Dishes, stove, coffee maker, refrigerator, Oven etc
10. Car parking is free.
11. 15 mins drive to a number of scenic places including most poplar beaches.
12. Very Friendly Owner.
13. Fully air conditioned house : 6 Aircons.
This was all about our time at Izu Log House.
I should thank sakurai san for maintaining such a awesome and wonderful place by working alone .
Place hard to find but it was great the owner was accommodating
Stayed one night at the lodge house for 15'000 JPY/2pax
PRO: Very friendly and helpful owners
CON: Not clean, Toilet and blankets very smelly, no courtains for the morning light
Camping maybe better as you are not expecting a minimum level of comfort.
It has been going on for 3 consecutive years. The road to the campsite is narrow and rattling. This is another thrilling experience! There are only a few places where you can pass each other, so if you meet each other, you can go up and down in the back. It may be impossible for people who are not confident in driving. The campground is pristine. Of course, there are many insects. I like being able to become one with nature. If you like fashionable and well-equipped facilities, you should stop. The nature is wonderful.

As I forced to create a resort, I couldn't manage it!
The good point is
Tropical nature!
It is quite maniac, but you can observe the collective behavior of the semi!
Screaming until 8:00 pm!
From around 4 o'clock in the morning, choir screams from the back of the mountain all at once.
It's terrifying.
For some reason, I remember encountering an unknown.
As it is basic mountain back, please take it into consideration!
As it is not a resort because it is a campsite,
Please do not expect services etc!
It is an ordinary campsite.
