I think I posted the photo once, but I may have forgotten it because I've been here and there. Because I happened to be introduced to Eishoji in the Iido mountain hiking map that I got from Handoji earlier, so I thought I had overlooked it, so I asked him to take care of the map today, but I noticed on the way. , I abandoned the navigation and headed to another place. According to the mountain hiking map, this is a temple of the Tendai sect that is said to be the founder of Saicho Daishi, and the roof of the main hall seems to be damaged, but there is a fairly famous wooden statue of Jizo Bodhisattva, and the admission fee is certainly paid. I can't worship without it, and it seems that I can't show it unless I'm a group, but sometimes there are enthusiastic people from afar, and I think that I wanted to see it even if I paid the amount equivalent to that group individually. According to the hiking map I got, this statue is made of a single cypress made in the Heian period, and it is said that it was made by Saicho. Right.
