Definitely a hidden gem!!! Since I am sensitive to gluten, I am always searching for soba restaurants who offers 100% buckwheat soba noodles(十割蕎麦). When I was driving back to Kohoku after visiting Shigaraki, I found this hidden gem. Def use GPS to get there ;) about 10-15mins drive from Ryuo Outlet Mall. You can choose between thick or thin soba. Highly recommend ordering thick soba (太麺) since those are harder to get at any soba restaurant. Heavenly soba flavor burst in your mouth, I drool thinking about it. For kids, They recommended thin(細麺) noodles and they were right! Def worth the drive.

It is expensive compared to the content. If it is 300 yen cheaper, you will be satisfied.

鴨つけ蕎麦を頂きました。鴨つけ汁がとても美味しく、蕎麦も太くコシがあり食べ応えがありました。私が駐車場が下手ということを伝えたら女将さんが代わりに駐車してくれ、またコロナ対策もしっかりしているので安心して食事が出来ました。また近くに行った時は伺います。応援したくなるお店です。

A soba restaurant run by a couple in an ordinary residential area. The couple seemed to be quite busy from beginning to end, but they had a friendly and attentive reception. I was so busy that I was told "I'm sorry I'm not good enough", but I don't bother because I can see why you're working hard, and I was healed. You can sleep 4-5 cars in the garage, but at peak times, drive along the road outside the garage and wait. We also waited from outside the garage, but not so much as I thought if the soba was spinning faster. The exterior is a little like a normal house, but the interior is calm with an old folk house style. This time we arrived in front of the store around 12:10, but it was a holiday, so it was a last-minute safe because we stopped the buckwheat so the order would stop. If you absolutely want to eat, we recommend that you come to the store early. You can choose thick noodles or thin noodles for soba. Thick noodles are very chewy and have a satisfying taste! Thin noodles are smooth and easy to eat! Both are delicious! The tempura is crispy and the shrimp is pre-prepared. Tororo is very tenacious and often entangled with soba. There are also ohagi and pudding♡
