Nice place for relaxing and enjoying the nature.its 20 mins distance to famous waterfalls of nanadaru by walking. We stayed at kuwa cottage and it has private Onsen too.
I went there with friends whom had a custom made huge tent and a wood stove. There was plenty of space to accommodate the tent. The onsen was also nice.
I used it in early December. The outside temperature at night was around 9 ℃, and although Izu was in the mountains, the wind felt a little cold.
The calipers used were various, such as solo, duo, and group, but it seems that most of them used it relatively quietly.
Regarding the facilities, the hot springs can be used free of charge for 24 hours. ◎ However, since it is not possible to wash your body and head in the open-air bath, you will have to use a coin shower separately. (Personally, negative evaluation)
Some sites have drainboards, so if you make a reservation for them, if you don't have a peg (hook) for the drainboards, there will be layout restrictions for tarping. I think it's okay if you hang a rope around the end of the drainboard or devise something, but since the drainboard site is not large enough, if you put up a tent, the remaining space will be small. I think it's the direction to set up small.
The other sites are small gravel sites and have sections, but this one also has a slightly smaller impression. For those who set up a large dome-shaped tent, there is a parking lot in another place when you unload your luggage on the site, so if you put your car there, you can use it widely. The ground has a lot of ball gravel like a riverbed, and it bends if it is an aluminum peg. I think it would be better to have a forged peg.
There was one toilet in the center, but I feel that it is a little far from the edge. It was cleaned and kept clean.
Water fields were prepared at appropriate intervals. (With lighting, without hot water)
The river runs through the campground, so
At night, I don't mind the voices of other sites.
The road suddenly narrows from about 300m in front of the campsite, but I think that most cars will have no problem because I could pass through the cabcon and the buscon.
A bundle of firewood was 600 yen.
Heal the cold body with warm water by bike touring,
I had the impression that it was a campsite that was best suited for such usage. I want to use it again.
At the end of October 2020, we stayed overnight at Qua Cottage with a 3-year-old child and a few friends. It was a camp beginner corps, but it was fun.
I rented a BBQ stand and a net, but since it is basically an auto campsite, it is difficult to bring camp goods. Of course, you need to bring your own ingredients.
On the other hand, it is kind to beginners in every respect.
First of all, there are many vending machines (price is the same as on flat ground), there is a garbage dump (combustible, bottles, cans, cylinders ...), and there is even a drum-type washing machine for a fee.
There is a mysterious separation between a place to wash your body and a shower, but there is also an open-air bath (this can be used without staying).
Inside the quacot cottage, there is an air conditioner, an IH stove (probably not used, but lol), and the indoor bath is an open-air bath.
There aren't many bad points, but to say the least, you can only use one outlet in the quacot cottage room (power saving?), The shower in the indoor bath is also open-air and cold outside, and there is no hair dryer.
* But in the first place, that's not what you want from a campsite lol
The hottest bath is the best ~ w The space to put up a tent on the deck is comfortable. But unlike a while ago, it's very crowded, but there is plenty of space, so it's far better than the others?
