The station building is now clean. Banetsu Monogatari stops only for Aizuwakamatsu Station. Previously there was a freight train to this station. Due to structural reasons, the DD51-driven freight train from Niitsu passed through to Aizu-Wakamatsu, replaced DD51, and headed to Shiokawa Station. There are still lead-in wires to the cement terminal.

I will visit on June 18, 2019. Shiokawa Station is a consigned manned station of JR East located at Shiishibashi Bridge in Shiokawacho, Kitagata, Fukushima Prefecture. As the SL Banetsu Monogatari will finally resume from next month, we visited the previewers. Location 1: It seems that you can see the SL Banetsu Monogatari going up from the home and the station vacant land. Location 2: It seems to be good from the iron bridge over Nibisugawa towards the nearby Aizuwakamatsu Station!
