I was treated for acute appendicitis here after being rejected from several other hospitals in the area. Pros: Friendly staff (except the CT guy who seemed as if he’d rather be somewhere else), English-speaking surgeons, the staff happily kept my husband updated with my condition via phone, I could receive stronger pain medication upon request, doctors took into account my postpartum condition (just had a baby; breastfeeding). Cons: Hospital is moving site in the future so the current hospital is difficult to navigate, not so great meals (lol), one doctor kept changing my cannula without putting on gloves, private rooms are really expensive, toilets smell absolutely awful, had to ask for pain relief in the first place (um, I just had general surgery?!). Overall though, I was glad to have received good care here, and I’m thankful for the friendliness of the doctors and nurses as it was quite a difficult time for me with a newborn at home.

I set a reservation at 11am. We arrived at 10am and do some test before meet the doctor. Then we have to wait until 12:30am.

Not very helpful. Their check in time closes at 11 am and we weren't able to get consultation with an English speaking doctor even though my uncle was in severe pain from gout. Because they couldn't help us with the necessary care, we weren't an immediate concern to their facility. We were rudely asked to leave the hospital without any instructions to a close by hospital where we could get help. They did provide us with an English service line before essentially kicking us out.

I want to write something for all the foreigner out there! I was a little worried about my health and i didn't know what to do but i wanted to be checked by a doctor. At first I thought i was going to go to a foreigner clinic but then my teacher suggested me to go to a local doctor in Nippori that spoke english. I went there and He told me i needed to be checked by a bigger hospital and he gave me a presentation letter to this hospital. Briefly I can tell you that the staff at the counter doesn't speak english but they will do everything they can to help you, and so they did! The doctor was able to speak english and fortunately give me a very good news! Also it was everything very cheap! But i have to mention that i am a student and i am paying national insurance. If you are just visiting I guess you'll have an other kind of insurance and maybe you're case will be different from mine. Still, I suggest you to do the same step i did, because i heard that without the presentation letter it's more expencive. And also if you want to take the data of the exam you did you have to ask for it, and you might need to pay an extra charge. Thank you to all the doctors, nurse and the girls at the reception(they were soo helpful and understanding)

I had oral surgery. It seemed to be a rare symptom, and I couldn't find any abnormalities, so maybe I couldn't do anything about it, but in the end, he just said, "You shouldn't worry about it." If I can do something that I don't mind, I don't go to the clinic until I get a letter of introduction. I'm worried because I feel uncomfortable, so I think it's better not to worry about it even though I'm undergoing a medical examination. If you don't understand it, you can't help but understand it, but I've been feeling uncomfortable in my mouth all the time, and even though I had a feeling of squirming in the straw, I felt like I was pushed out. I don't want the teacher to provide mental care, but couldn't I have been able to respond to the patient without knowing it? I think it didn't go well with the doctor in charge, but when I got tired and said "I'm okay", I said "yes" and ended up without talking about reservations or prescriptions. I was sad to feel the air that it would be a problem if I could come any more. (I just told him that I wanted him to give me the same medicine as before because I wanted to see what happened after that, but I felt that it was a completely troublesome patient certification for the attitude of pushing it too far.) I am grateful that the teacher who consulted me first gave me a prescription because I didn't see any abnormalities but there might be something I was worried about. But I will never go again. It's emotional and subjective, but I'm sorry if I hit this teacher, so please be careful when you visit. I came here with a letter of introduction because the dentist in my neighborhood couldn't understand it, but in the end it was a waste of time just because the dentist made an irrelevant diagnosis and made me feel uncomfortable.
