A huge Buddha statue with a height of 4m85cm called Maitreya Great Buddha is enshrined. Sandstone (Sekiguchi stone) that can be mined nearby is used, but due to the nature of the sandstone, it is easily weathered by the effects of rain and wind, and the surface seems to have been slightly scraped.
