It is also known as "Koji-ji", and is known to people in the area from the Muromachi period. It is a temple of the Rinzai sect Myoshin temple school, and it is the 69th place for the Reichon of Nakano. The precincts are made of dried Japanese water in the Japanese garden, and they are beautiful gardens that are well maintained to the famous temples of Kyoto and Nara.
