Amazing straw/ steam bath! Onsen bath had a nice setting.

Superb local onsen! Entrance ¥100 (for females if they wash their hair +¥50), you need to bring your own shampoos and towel. Beppu onsen stamp at the friendly reception. Operation time 13:00-23:00, there is parking (4 spaces). You can see your stuff while bathing. Plenty of space to wash yourself around the medium-small size rectangular tub. There is a nice huge painting of Takasaki mountain on the wall. There are two holes to access the source, one to open/close the flow of hot water and one which is drinkable for those who want to have a sip. Nice and hot transparent water. The place has a few more artworks here and there and a nice retro style clock to check on the time while bathing. Excellent and clean facilities. Outside the onsen there is a little fountain for those who would like to taste the onsen water. Gensen kakenagashi Sodium, magnesium, calcium - bicarbonate, chloride spring, pH 7.2

Colorless, tasteless and odorless hydrogen carbonate spring. It is as cheap as 150 yen per adult. Since there is no sink, we use hot water from the bathtub. There is a small footbath outside

The bath is a hot spring flowing from the source and the size of the bathtub is large enough for 5 to 6 people and the temperature of the bath is 43 ° C and it was a moderate heat, but once the body can reach the hot water, it feels good. It was good. The hot springs are colorless and transparent. There were 5 parking lots. I like the shared hot water.
