Yokota Air Base

I had such fantastic experience when I was at Yokota from 1991 to 1993. If i wasn't working, I was off base rollerblading, riding my mountain bike, motor scooter, hopping on the trains or mountain climbing. Should have married my Japanese instructor Kania Son. Only real suggestions i have are experience everything possible and don't ever fear the unknown. Also, treat everyone with respect and you will have the time of your life!

I we're station at Yakota AB from 1971 to 1978 great experience, I seem Tachikawa AB shut down and Yakota A.B. grow new Commissary, Hospital new housing and the demise of the fuel burning pit etc thank you Sir Force.

The gambling parlor on this base is crooked and has an attendant running kill switches if you are on a winning streak.

I loved being at Yokota Air Force Base in 1966-1968! Only 18 at the time I got there! Best place to be stationed at! Will always cherish my time I was there!😁

If you can make it in it is a great place to stay a little while and take in some sites and do some shopping 👍👍
