Beautiful temple in a secluded, wonderful and very mysterious environment. Unfortunately it was closed due to coronavirus.

It is a temple with a very interesting mummy. It is an old temple in Asahi village of Tsuruoka city‼️ It is a temple I want to visit again from spring to summer！

It is the oldest temple in the Shonai region, where the live Buddha of the Honmei sea is enshrined. Since it is not a tourist temple and it is not a place where tourists come from the first place, reservations are essential for visiting. Access by public transport is quite inconvenient and the temple itself has nothing to do with it, but the harsh atmosphere isolated from the hustle and bustle is wonderful. In other temples such as Dainichibo and Chorenji, it is a normal Buddhist statue that you see in the same way as Buddha statues and temple treasures. Next, naturally the kobe goes down. As it is far from the city and there are no other attractions, it is undeniable that it has a minor feeling compared to other temples that enshrine the instant Buddha, but we recommend visiting once.

I do my best as an original prayer temple without being aware of sightseeing. The temple of the instant Buddha of the Holy Sea Marine is also very good.

It is not a tourist destination. It is a dignified and wonderful atmosphere.
