A temple of the Rinzai sect Myoshinji school in Minokamo City, Gifu Prefecture. There are many monuments such as Tsubouchi Shoyo's song monument and Matsuo Basho's monument. In the 15th century, the founder of the Seizawa school, one of the four schools of Myoshinji, learned that the Kannon Bodhisattva was sinking at the bottom of the Kiso River, and raised it as the principal image. Later, when a big fire broke out in the neighborhood, when the fire approached Dou, where this Kannon statue is enshrined, the fire waned and the fire was extinguished, so it is also known as Takiba Kannon as a spiritual Kannon statue.
