Excellent pizzas, pastas (Gorgonzola cream sauce with smoked chicken), salads and mains (grilled chicken) in Takashima. Wood fired pizza oven means there may be a bit of smoke and ash floating around. Friendly, efficient and delicious. Reservations required!

You must come to this awesome Italian restaurant. Please reserve seats before you come because the chef would like to heat up the pizza oven before you come and serve best pizza smoothly to you !!

While I was chewing the chicken, I closed my eyes and I know I am happy!
Really nice staff, great view, and nice atmosphere. Really cozy. Food is delicious, like an Italian style. A little on the expensive with prices around the ¥1500 for a normal course, and up to ¥2000 for more premium courses involving steak. It's a bit hard to access, about a 10 minute walk from the nearest station (Omi-Asahi). The price and location are two of the biggest drawbacks.
