I've stayed there for a month and it's seriously one of the best mountain guesthouse you'll ever find. The location is great, there shops around, even a supermarket which is accessible by foot in less than 10 minutes. Also if you have a car, in winter, the nearest snow resort is at less than 30 minutes. The littles chalets of ITTAN are really cute and well made. There an outdoor kitchen where guests can cook, or use the bbq (also a rice cooker !) The owner of the place is really nice and give you the chance to participate to the lunch and dinner he cook. He's a amazing chef, and for less than 700 ¥ you'll be able to eat a meal that worth as much as a stared restaurant. Definitely recommend this place.
