The 2020 winter greeting stamp (63 yen) was sold out at the post office near my place of employment, so I made an inquiry by phone first. It was said that there was a little left, so when I asked for 6 sheets, they set aside and the counter was very kind. After all, I bought 8 sheets. It is my feeling that I am working with the customer, saying that it depends on the staff who can handle the value of things, whether it is good or bad. I felt that it was a well-educated station with guidance and education on customer service.

間口は小さいですが地下1階にもATMがあります。 保険や預金の取り扱い窓口も地下1階です。

The station name is "Shinjuku" but the address is Shibuya Ward. If you don't pay attention when you use the local service, you will go to the Shinjuku Post Office. Even if you enter 〒 151, you may go to the Shinjuku station because it seems that the number is different. The naming is too easy. It's far from the south exit. Addendum There are other people's writings such as "Use the Yu-yuu window on holidays" and "2nd floor Yu-cho window", but this is mistaken for writing on the "Shinjuku Post Office". This post office is a specific post office and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Please use it carefully.

Use a Yu Yu window on a holiday. Even oversea mail can be handled smoothly.

It is crowded like a demon. Especially on the second floor related to Yucho, it's the Yucho that will be the first to be taken care of by people who have just moved to Tokyo. It is wise to look for other post offices unless you like to be a busy person or wait. There are many post offices in Shinjuku. The first floor where commemorative stamps are sold is vacant, so this is the best for that purpose. There are also samples.
