Jōbokuin Temple

Small but nice place to look at

This temple is the most beautiful in Higashi-Kurume and it a wonderful quiet place in any season. The temple staff are very kind and encouraged us to take photographs freely. Last year, I visited Joboku-in during an early snow and it was beautiful with both kouyou and snow together.

The large site and the splendid mountain gate are wonderful. The mountain gate is unintentionally pulled in. The greenery of the trees in the temple was very nice, and that alone made me feel like a picture. And what is overwhelming is the 500 Hyakukan. This visit requires a separate admission fee.
