Brasserie in Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto Brasserie restaurant & lounge in Four Seasons Kyoto, Japan. Designed by Shanghai-based architecture firm Kokaistudios. The site is located in the UNESCO protected area of the temples of Kyoto at the base of the mountains and faces a historical traditional Japanese pond surrounded by a magnificent heritage ikeniwa garden. Positioned between the arrival lobby and the garden, the restaurant is the core of the public space of the hotel, becoming in this way the main representative space of the entire resort. The architect conceived the space on with a strong architectural strategy by using the Kyoto traditional system to connect indoor to outdoor, creating a large architectural feature that frames the view of the garden. Went there for dinner and took the set 6 course menu from new chef Ryuji Koga. Little did we expect fine dining at that level of ethereal refinement. This was in 2 Michelin stars category all the way through. We asked for him to come at the table to congratulate. No wonder, he explained he is ex sous-chef of a famous 3 star restaurant in Paris. It certainly showed.

I used it for lunch. The scenery and the atmosphere of the shop were good, and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious, but only the main chicken was subtle ... It had a breast-like texture and was a little hard and dry, probably because it was overcooked. I hope you can finish it a little more moist. Also, when I made a reservation, I told him what I was not good at, and I was able to confirm it before the course started, but it was normal. Was it not linked or was it careless? It's a trivial matter because I'm not allergic, but I would like you to be careful as a first-class hotel. I said something, but I think it was good overall. Thank you for the meal.

I had lunch on my wife's birthday. It was delicious. The last is a birthday cake.

I had a lunch course. I think it was about 6800 yen for 5 items. It had bread, two appetizers, fish, meat, dessert and coffee, and the coffee was both iced coffee and hot coffee. The staff had a young and casual image for a first-class hotel, but the service was courteous. It's a really nice hotel, so I'd like to reserve a terrace seat when it gets warm (^^)
