Amazing local onsen which surprisingly apart of the public onsen has a private family bath as well!! For ¥500 (total, not per person so two people is ¥250 each) you can have your private onsen for one hour (they have just one so if it's occupied you might need to wait a bit). Very clean facilities, the water is really hot so make sure to add quite a lot of cold water. You need to bring your own towel and shampoos. Onsen stamp at the reception, right after you open the door (male or female section), the staff is very friendly. The toilet is outside. Two spaces for car parking. Will be definitely going back to try the public bath and will update!

2019-11 Many of the hot springs we visited this time were surprised because there were many hot springs attached to the public hall and we had never seen them in Kagoshima. Bathing around 4pm on Saturday. The parking lot for bathers is on the right side of the building and the monthly parking lot is on the left side. If you are a regular car for bathers, the front will protrude, but you can park. However, if you have a car in the monthly parking lot, you will not be able to escape. The bathing time is from 6 am to 10 pm, but from 0 pm to 2 pm it is not possible to bathe for cleaning. The right side was Otoyu. The bathing fee is 100 yen for adults and 50 yen for children. There are no valuables lockers in the dressing room. From the dressing room, take a few steps down to the bathroom. The first customers were two grandfathers. The local grandfather gave me water, so it was just right. The bathtub was large enough for two people to enter. The bathroom is made of concrete and tiles, so there is no decoration. The local grandfather took a bath one after another. I went into and out of the hot water for 30 minutes. Since it is near Beppu Arena, I think it would be convenient to walk and take a bath after participating in an event in the arena.

Left side bath, right side side bath When I got there, there was no one at the counter, so I put 100 yen into the cigarette. It is a local hot spring with no shower, shampoo, body wash. The temperature in the bath is so hot that it is hard to take a bath, and the cold water faucet in the bath is turned on and mixed with the bath water and put on the body. It is good to wash around for a while while walking around.
