Chanced upon this quaint little modern, Kyoto style bar after ending our day. Lovely ambience with great selection of drinks. What caught our eye was their impeccable display of Japanese ceramic sake cups (we ended up splurging on one!) This place is highly recommended if you like a less touristy and super chill joint 👌🏻

Cool place for a sake pitstop. Good selection of locally crafted beer and sake at an affordable price. Staff spoke good English too. Recommended. Note: there’s no seating space here. Everyone stands at the bar area for a drink.

Great rest stop after walking around the temple or side streets. Beer, wine, sake and more. Light snacks as well. Bar only, no tables, but recommend.

Really cool sake and beer place to have a drink after temple sightseeing. The ambiance is great and the sake choice varied and delicious. My only slight negative is the bar sacks are on the pricey side. There are also high end sale drinking vessels on display. Very beautiful but with proces to match! Overall, would recommend for a pre dinner drink.

Randomly ran into this cute spot for light food and drinks on our way from our hotel to the temple that is situated up the hill. The hours are limited, but it was so intriguing that we made sure to make a stop when it was open. Didn't get a chance to try any food, but I always like to sample local beer when able, and wasn't disappointed. If you are in the area, drop by.
