Cozy and clean simple Onsen!!! People are friendly. Great atmosphere. Simple is the best

Wonderful local onsen, entrance ¥100. Very friendly staff. No lockers but you can see your things while taking a bath. Clean facilities, lots of space. The tub is medium size and divided into two parts, the one which the onsen water pumps directly into it is hotter. You need to bring your own towel and shampoos. Stamp at the counter where you pay.

温泉浴場 This is a communal public bath in the district that was installed at the public hall. Bathing charge is 100 yen. People in Beppu love bathrooms where they go and feel that their baths are the best, I think so. As people who come every day are decided, I know as soon as an unknown "stranger" comes in. Not to mention travelers like us, but even in town and ward in Beppu it is a stranger in a public bath. As you can see from the fact that it is often located along with the community hall, it is also a place in Beppu where communal baths form the district community.

The hot water is hot, but it is a calm public bath for me, who retains the atmosphere of the Showa era.
